Recharge With The Moon

Cecilia’s passion for Astrology started in the 1980’s when she was studying psychology in Venezuela and learnt the effects of the phases of the Moon on the sea tides and studies showing how the Moon influenced the collective behaviour.

The Moon rules our emotions and is associated with our instincts, intuition, fertility, nutrition and intervenes in our mood to satisfy our needs. The Moon plays a role in how we react with people who matter to us every day. Generally we all know our Zodiacal sign shown by the position of the Sun in the particular sign when we were born. The Sun is the source of energy that gives us light and motivation in our life. THE MOON IS IMPORTANT TOO! The Moon symbolises how we feel emotionally and by getting in tune with the Moon we can be happier!

The Moon travels through each Zodiac sign in about two and a half days, and changes its appearance in our sky projecting sunlight through its phases in a 28 day Lunar Cycle.

The Sun and Moon align each month in a particular sign – New Moon – offering us a powerful time to create our Visions and plant our intentions. One week later the Sun and Moon form a challenge relationship in the sky – Waxing Quarter Moon – for us to take action in order for our intentions to have potential. The following week we will be illuminated by the Full Moon for us to blossom balancing the polarity of the signs where Sun and Moon will be opposing each other. Finally one week before the 28 day Moon Cycle ends, the Waning Quarter Moon will bring us a reflection time to review the whole process and consciously close the cycle and prepare for the new one.

In October 2015 we have the New Moon in Libra on 13 October at 11:05 am to promote our growth in relationships working together with a common purpose. It is a blessing time to boost fairness, aesthetics and negotiation to achieve peace, where negotiation is handled such that it results in a win-win for each side. Find below some ideas to create your visions:

  • Get ready to express love in relationships but also remember to be nice to yourself.
  • Set intentions to learn to negotiate both points of view in partnerships taking the best decision for your relationship.
  • Diplomacy, respect and tolerance are the keys for harmony following our principles and values.
  • Listening to each other, we can integrate peace and respect to enjoy the Art of Loving
  • Beauty is obtained through the balance of contrast in colours, textures and light. Embrace the Spring buying flowers and decorating our home to create a Sanctuary of Love

Moon phases, astrology, manifesting, gratitudeTwo weeks later on October 27, the Full Moon in Taurus will illuminate us to connect with nature and satisfy our senses with a hug, the scent of flowers… releasing our fears and acknowledging the pleasures of life.

Cecilia has created a beautiful Moon Wall Calendar, with individual artwork which she is launching at the upcoming Newcastle Embrace Life festival on Sunday 18th October or you can visit her website, www.stelliumlight.com.au
