Awakening the Author Within

It’s time to awaken the author within! Are you ready to start your journey?

Every single person has a story that can help others; that means you have a book inside of you that you can share with the world.

The most powerful story you can write should come directly from your heart. This will not only resonate with your audience, it will also be truly inspiring for both you and your readers.

Many people talk about writing a book, however, many never take it any further and it remains a dream to them, don’t let that person be you!

Many people say they don’t know what to write about, while others say they wouldn’t know where to start even if they wanted to. Let’s make that first step together, are you ready?

The very first step to writing your book is understanding and knowing your ‘why’.

What is your ‘why’?

When you can answer that question, you will have all the success you need to not only write your book, but to complete your book and get it published.

Writing your book has the potential to affect your life, your business, your position in the world, and your own personal sense of power.

Knowing your ‘why’ gives you the fuel to write your book.

Ask yourself this question:

What transformation do you want for yourself from writing your book?

Let me briefly share with you the transformation I felt once I completed my very first book. Writing my book has completely transformed who I see myself to be in the world. Not only that, I feel very blessed that I can help people with anxiety and depression through my own words and experience.

As you can see the first book I wrote was on anxiety and depression. Why? It was something I went through due to many circumstances in my life at the time and writing a book about it was a wonderfully therapeutic and healing process that I needed to undertake to get to where I am today.

In the process of writing this book I was able to help many other people, and for that I am truly grateful.

Hopefully my story has ignited something inside of you that you can share and write about. It is really important to know what the main purpose of your book will be; following are some examples to help you:

  • Is it to promote your business?
  • Is it a self-help book?
  • Is it a recipe book?
  • Is it a craft book?
  • Is your book an autobiography?
  • Will the book be for children?
  • Is it to build credibility for you and your business?
  • Is it a book you wish to sell at events or workshops?
  • Or, do you simply want to sell it online?

Remember, once you know your ‘why’ you are well on your way to writing your book!
