I write this blog today with a massive disclaimer – in being human we walk our own paths, and along the way we will meet each other at different parts of each other’s journey.
There is no benefit in casting a judgement on another or comparing – we all have our own life to live & story to share. People endure hardships, and the way they deal with them is their choice, and their journey. In sharing my viewpoint, it is to offer a few ways I have dealt with mine. To take back my power, and play an active role in creating what I wanted to be my reality.
As you know through previous blogs shared, I am not perfect and don’t always get things right.
Life has its twists and turns, there are days I wished I had dealt with people/situations a different way. Every step I took was the best I could at the time, and where I was at.
Here are a few tools I have used to come back to the essence of gratitude. Life has a funny way to give you things to learn, to share with others – learning to live a life with gratitude, is my journey. My choice.
Take responsibility on who turns up each day
The first time I read the story of Victor Frankl, a Holocaust survivor; was a pivotal moment in understanding how I played an active role in creating my reality.
Reading his story of horrendous circumstances and surviving physically, emotionally and mentally through a strongly held belief of being free within his own thoughts, gave me an understanding on how I can always choose, no matter how hard, painful, unfair or unjust. The way I interpreted, processed it and ultimately made this my truth, was my choice.
There are many things/people/situations who will influence us, and often they are completely out of our control. The essence of taking responsibility, is you can always choose how you “turn up”.
Stories taken from our family, our friends and/or society can ultimately be re-scripted, if we want to. The first step is awareness, and where a regular meditative practice will assist. Journalling and being conscious of patterns – is there a story you find yourself often repeating? Emotional triggers are your body telling you something – are you listening?
That person who is currently getting under your skin, draining your energy – what are they representing or reflecting for you? Without getting too deep, it can be they are giving you a gift: a chance to exercise compassion for another, an opportunity to set boundaries or the chance to say “no” and put your needs first, whatever it is, with the unveiling you can step back out of their story and into love.
Remember. We always have choice.
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.” – Victor Frankl
Affirmations work, what are you affirming?
We have heard and probably used affirmations for a long time now. Louise Hay, was a great advocate for using them. My view is we affirm every day and in every moment, through the words we say, the thoughts we have and where we choose to put our focus, we are continually interacting with the energy of the universe.
The question is: what are we affirming and is it what we want?
If we are re-telling a story of things that didn’t go our way, or spending time on things that don’t give us joy, then we are affirming this is where we want to expand.
If we keep in the energy of “wanting” then the universe conspires to keep it at bay – keeping you at the stage of “want” rather than present it to you.
And if the energy behind the affirmation is not felt with conviction and we are not in alignment, the universe doesn’t know how to respond.
Many people I work with, ask what if they cannot genuinely believe it, as it hasn’t manifested into their reality. I do not support the “fake it, to you make it” as detailed above, your alignment will be out.
Consider using this two step approach.
Step 1. Affirm that you are allowing the resistance to go by: ” I am willing/open to ….” and then’
Step 2. Bring in the affirmation in, after you have moved through the resistance,
Here are a few examples of affirmations, with the first one using the 2 step process:
” I am willing to…..always have plenty of time to put my needs first” and then, ” I always have plenty of time to put my needs first”
“I am open and willing to receive”
” I deserve all my dreams to come true”
” I love and respect myself”
“I know the universe has my back good things are coming my way”
We wrote a blog that provided Tips To Magnetise Your Affirmations, you may find it an interesting read.
Enjoy creating your own. Keep them vibrating strong with an emotional connection and a belief that they are true, and see how the universe/source responds.
Don’t ignore the “yucky” stuff, they often have the gifts
Last week I read a blog, “Gratitude Lists are B.S” it really caught my eye!
Once I got into the blog, I realised that there was a very important message. Gratitude is about embracing all emotions without judgment, and not just the warm and fuzzy stuff. Ignoring what you are feeling about things as they unravel, is not being authentic.
There will be times when being angry, lost, deflated and frustrated ( add any emotion you are feeling that is termed “negative”) is appropriate, and there will be practical things that need to happen for you be in balance. It doesn’t assist your process to ignore them however, you need to un-invite our good old friend of judgement from the co-creating party – as all emotions are real, and need to be honoured.
As with every moment, we have choices and often the challenges will present its gift in time – so embrace the discomfort, honour the emotions and when you have decided that emotion has been heard, processed and you are ready to move forward, then you can choose to use these tools to assist your next stage.
Creating a contract
I live my life open to hear what people want to share – its like, a “treasure hunt” of messages to be received each day. The other weekend someone shared her process of writing a contract of the way you want, and then sign it between you and the universe – fantastic idea!
Now, before you scoff and feel this is a waste of time or you don’t have the time – I urge you to reconsider.
The power of the written word is immense – why not use it to create what you want? Writing a contract is also a great exercise of being clear on what you want ( and what you wont accept) – clarity is key in manifesting. Too often, we fall into the category of focussing and talking about what we don’t want.
And then, with a seal of gratitude I recommend you enlist your ‘peeps’ to execute.
Here’s an exercise I once read, appoint a CFO ( to focus on your financial outcomes) and COO ( to focus on the operations) on your Angelic/Soul Purpose Board and in your daily morning practice, assign outcomes to your leadership team to be delivered as support to your life’s purpose ( remember not micro-tasks, rather a high level outcome and brief you would give a leader on your team).
Then as the CEO of your life go ahead with ease, knowing that your team has it under control.
Try it out, what do you have to lose?
Expect more
As you know from a previous post, I have been enjoying my new book, “Earth is Hiring” from Peta Kelly – do yourself a favour, its a must read.
In it, she shares a practice that I have been bringing into my day, asking the question : “Can it get any better than this?” I use this when things are not going my way, and I find it gives clarity on next steps or a different way to look at things. I have also use it when things are going great – as an invitation to the universe to show me more of what I have – we need to start believing we can have what our heart desires, we deserve it.
Use the question over the next week and see what presents: I am getting amazing replies and you will too.
And this leaves me to the last tool – scripting.
Scripting
Today, I found an old journal and was reading through my reflections of the year. Admittedly, it had been a tough year and things I had planned did not go according to my script – the old one, mapped it out on a timeline, set dates and expectations.
With scripting, you are invited to write what you want to have occur in your life, your business, relationship, an event – whatever you are creating, and to do it in a future or present text, as it has already occurred. You write this, with the emotion of what you would feel, the visuals you would see and what would be happening in the present.
Once you have written it, you keep the energy flowing by reading it each day, with the view that you are experiencing it in the now.
It is such a powerful exercise to do, you are co-creating with the expectation that it is already here. You are vibrating at the level required to attract what it is you are scripting. The power of the written word is one you should be mindful of, it creates an energy of attraction.
So when I read my 2017 journal, it was clear to me now that my disappointments, and unmet expectations were setting myself up for more, as I wrote in the past tense and not being aware I had the way to influence the future.
I share this as a way to let you know, I am not perfect – I am human, and with it, I am learning everyday. What I can do to co-create with the universe, and when times get tough how to bounce back, as sometimes we can lose our way.
Fast forward to now I am sitting here writing you my weekly blog, breathing in the sense of contentment that is now in my life, grateful that I am where I have landed, and knowing all that transpired was in the highest good.
Things had to unravel – why? because I had placed too much responsibility on my shoulders, to be fair no-one but myself ask me to do that – it was my own pattern of needing to do “more” to be valued, to be loved.
The intention of our Gratitude community is still very alive and strong, and more is unfolding in beautiful alignment – I cant wait to share. The dreams I had, will be fulfilled in a way I couldn’t have planned, it will be better, brighter and expansive, and it was when I got out of the way of the “how” and the minute steps, and surrendered that I invited the best way forward to reveal itself.
And this is what I invite for us all. To be kind to ourselves, we are doing the best we can, with what we have – why wouldn’t we? Be open to receive all we desire, it is our birthright to be happy and feel loved. Surround yourself with people who hear us, believe in us and support us and this comes from us giving this to ourself first. Gratitude is the way I come back to the now for the co-creation, it expands my the way I view the world, raises my vibration and continually attracts all that is meant to come.

Life has a way to show us what we need to learn, and when we get to the other side we often realise it was all part of the journey
For the past 12 months I have endured a rollercoaster of events that literally rocked me to the core. Some of the journey brought up emotions of anger, judgement, feeling lost and depleted; while others elation, feeling fully connected and immense joy and all of them where necessary for where I am today.
Creating a business offering to the world, held with a conviction that everything was driven by my life’s purpose became detriment to my own health and happiness. Not so much on what I was creating, I am very proud of our community and what it stands for, the amazing people who were attracted to the vision and supported it to become a reality (in a variety of ways) and the friendships made – for them I am eternally grateful.
It was my own beliefs that held me ‘stuck’ in the doing, continuing to execute to a fixed plan, not being open to see other ways to ask for/get help, fuelled with a sheer determination of what I believed needed to done, to achieve it and live on purpose.
My corporate upbringing and the ways I had been groomed to achieve an outcome held me well when I was in that environment. Where deadlines were created, politics navigated and objectives met. Surrounded by strong, competitive and results oriented behaviours all fixated on how to achieve a pre-determined 5 year strategy. These were not the skills needed to be employed when I decided to move into an awareness of a different sphere – with the laws of attraction, being present and an understanding of our creative force within it.
My whole purpose in life is to be in my joy and I find when I take the time to sit back, take ownership of where I am, be grateful for my lessons and where I am, then check in where I want to go next, the world and all her wonder reveals herself again. My eyes become open, my heart expands and endless possibilities start to re-emerge – I’m in that wonderful state of gratitude.
Often when we are in the “darkest” moments, these words may not resonate, I am writing them today so one day they will. I have read many times, that people don’t tend to write down their experiences and share with others, when they are going through a rough patch, and only want to write when they get to the other side – and I seem to be adding to this theory. I want to offer an explanation as to why I didn’t – the basic truth is, I couldn’t. While in this transition I was empty, withdrawn and obsessed with my own self healing, with nothing to share.
When you go though a transformation that can and will pivot your life, your beliefs are being unravelled and you don’t know what to do next. At this very time, you retreat, you lick your wounds, process your emotions and focus on what is most important – you!
To hold back your energy, giving yourself the time to express how you feel, to allow and let things go, grieve, feel into the void, be kind to yourself with the knowledge that this too will pass, is all you can muster. For the past few months, I gave myself the permission to be in this space.
Gratitude has always been a spiritual practice for me, a place to land when I have nowhere else to go.
So what do I offer now, for those who are still transitioning:
-
- Stay true to the core of your purpose. Your purpose will always be with you, the manifestation of its form may change, and often does. Take the time to see the threads and you will see that you are offering what you are here to do, be it may be another form. The core will always remain, it is the essence of you.
-
- Honour you. You deserve to be happy, living in joy and this comes first with you allowing this to be. Service doesn’t mean servant, your physical needs are important. You are a spiritual being in a physical body, and both need nourishing.
-
- Allow the lessons to go through their full cycle. Often we want the discomfort to stop, we will look for quick answers and want the pain to go away. Discomfort is as much of a human experience as happiness, joy and excitement -we are here to have as a full experience as we can. Feel the hurt, sit in it and honour it, understand what lesson is presenting itself to you – this is where the “gift” comes and once it has been acknowledged and the lesson reveals itself, like all energy it will pass.
-
- Take time to integrate the lessons. Once you get your “gift” allow integrate it into your daily habits/routine, it may be that you need to say “no” when you mean it and set boundaries, be clear to yourself what your passion/desire is and own it, not allowing others to influence you; it could be you need to give yourself the love you deserve and to not look outside for validation, it could be that your voice is ready to be heard and you need to not hold it back due to fear….it could be many reasons why your journey is where it is, be open to hear it, and then take the steps (no matter how small or big), you need to start integrating them it your new way of “being”
-
- Know you are truly loved, unique and have a birthright to be in your joy. What may seem like a set back, is only a refinement. As someone who is living on purpose, we will be given many ways to shed the layers to allow the light to come through – this is part of the process. Embrace them, honour yourself throughout the process and know it is not the destination rather the journey where we receive our gifts. Now go out and live your life, to the fullest – the world needs you.

Since becoming a mother, something I had absolutely no training or experience for, I took a hard stop with all my work back in mid-March to give full attention for my newborn and my recovery.
What happened in the next 3 months truly surprised me. I am not talking about the baby or sleep deprivation stories, that is a topic for another day. When I stopped all trains going through my grand central, I experienced a new sense of calm and stillness. I’ve created space, but not emptiness in my life.
This “time out” had allowed me to become a lot more present, better at listening to people around me or what is going on in the world. But mostly importantly, I am more aware of my inner voice.
I made a deliberate effort to consciously to think with my heart, not just with my head. I wanted my thoughts and actions to be grounded and aligned with who I want to become.
I ask myself, what truly matters to my heart and soul?
Am I doing this through my being?
What I observed during my time out is that there are so many “quick fix” or “fast track” ways on how to get what you want out there. Wordings may be different, but essentially the market is meeting the demand of what most people ask for, quick solutions to everything you want in life.
We see these all the time: “Lose 10 pounds in 3 days”, “Make 6-figures with 5 steps” or “Reach 100,000 audience in 1 month” and so on.
I am not saying it can’t happen and I am not saying it’s wrong to want those outcomes. But there is a cautionary tale here. First, all great accomplishment or enlightenment take time. Depth in anything takes time.
We live in the speed of light and age of information overload, especially with social media. In order to get the attention from anyone, you got 10 seconds or less. It is all about the immediate results and outcomes. To a certain extent, it is important as in how we measure progress. But this becomes an issue if it is all about the external outcomes.
Some say “The end justify the means”, while Gandhi said “The end is inherit in the means”.
To start with, do we even take time to ask:
What do I really want? Or is this something I think I “should” want?
Will a quick fix really give me what I need at a deeper level?
Second, the depth of what you do or offer comes from who you are. If we only focus on the immediate outcomes, just the doing or having, there is no depth in that outer success. Just like Dr. Wayne Dyer used to say, “When you squeeze an orange, orange juice comes out, nothing else”. You cannot give what you don’t have.
Everyone has his or her unique inner calling, which is supported by a God given talent and synchronistic opportunities in life. What matters to your heart and soul defines who you are, they lead you to your unique purpose or function in this world.
If you look closely to all those quick fix schemes, no matter it is about losing weight, making money or building relationships, they are all very focused on the what and how, but rarely touch on the why. The why is up to you.
What you are inside reflects onto the product or service you offer on the outside, and it takes time to mature and to grow spiritually as an individual in order to create a master piece.
And to become who you are truly capable of, the highest truest expression of yourself, you need to listen to your inner voice, rather than the outer noise. Everyone has a different preference in getting into the zone to hear their inner voice. For many it is meditation or prayer, a walk in nature, some time out or simply breath more consciously. No matter what your practice is, the key is to be consistent. Once again, there is no quick fix, all good things takes time and inner work.
An Exercise on How to Find Your Purpose & How to Work with it!
How do you find your Purpose?
Set aside some time where you won’t be disturbed. Surround yourself with things that you Treasure. This will help you connect with your Magick, your Purpose, your ‘U’niqueness.
Maybe its a beautiful verse in a card, Crystals, essential oils or perfume, a favourite rug knitted from your Grandma, a picture of your “besty”, a shell or a family photo. Place all your treasures together making an Altar to connect with yourself. All these treasures hold high vibrations . Each treasure takes you from your head to your heart.
Remember how you felt when you found or was gifted each treasure. That Blissful vibration from each of your treasures creates more love helping you raise your frequency connecting with your Soul & your Purpose in the here and Now.
Get Comfortable and Relax
- Light a Candle, gaze within the flame. Why? Because light attracts Light.
- Now begin breathing in deeply, then breathe out deeply…
- Let all thoughts of what has happened or what is to be done in your day gently leave.
- With Intention, Ask the Angels, Masters and Loved ones who have passed, to share with you and support you as you seek your purpose. There are many ways you may receive messages.
Trust, Believe & You Will Receive
- Maybe you will experience ‘seeing’ thoughts that just bubble up to the surface – Clairvoyant
- Maybe some words are whispered that you ‘hear’ deeply in your mind – Clairaudient
- A fragrance or ‘feeling’ may trigger a memory – Clairsentient
- You may experience an awareness that you ‘just know’ something – Claircognisent
I use Flower essences, Pendulums, my own Oracle Cards and Angel cards to receive answers. Anything is possible. Your Higher Self has been waiting patiently throughout this lifetime to connect with you.
Odd things may pop up, just write them down.
At times you may think ‘What has that got to do with anything? and that’s ok. The ego will be chattering away telling you…this is silly, do you really think this to be true etc.
Yet ego has helped you just exist until now. In this moment you realise there has to be more.
No longer does “just existing” cut it!
There is a possibility that absolutely nothing will happen in order to cultivate your ability to ‘Believe to Receive.’ Be patient and gentle, maintaining openness to the many different ways you may be gifted with answers.
Now What?
Ask Questions!
For example…
- Why am I being shown this? It is to Reignite your Soul.
- Where is this leading? To a path of Purpose.
- How can I incorporate this with my work or my being? Gently start Living it, blend it into your life.
- How does this relate to me? A deeper sense of Inner Peace awakens. Your Soul Purpose discovered. Like a Light leading you through this Life. Helping the Collective.
How did I know what my purpose was?
As a Mystic, I weave. I weave, intertwine, overlap and blend. In this lifetime I am observing, questioning and collecting. For me, my purpose is PEACE.
Anything to do with violence upset me, I mean really upset me. It consumed my thoughts, saturating my being, affecting my overall wellness. I haven’t read a newspaper for years and choose not to watch the news. Some call it ignorance but for me, I call it survival.
I remember my son wanting to join the Army. I found myself in a foetal position questioning my parenting. How could anyone kill another for any reason? Under no circumstances and no argument will you convince me there can be a reason for war. I am an Empath, PEACE is my Purpose. So by now I am really quite extreme…bubbling up from deep within me are triggers. These triggers help me recognise ‘my Purpose’.
Why am I reacting like this? Because it is my PURPOSE, its getting my attention! I need to create PEACE.
So I did the exercise “Understanding your Purpose”. I did it over and over and over again…until the penny dropped. I am not picketing at the front line, but in my heart I live with PEACE. I choose to share PEACE by guiding you to recognise your ‘U’niqueness.

When I walk into a fruit and vegetable shop or a grocery store I am struck by the variety of choices we have to fill our stomachs. Because of the abundance of choice and the continual supply of food most people are removed from the natural cycles of Mother Nature.
Cherries are a summer fruit. Why are they in the shops in June?
We have also lost touch with how our food grows, the soil required, the rain and the sun. That sometimes the conditions are not favourable and so the crop produced is small or worse is completely destroyed.
We are blessed that we do not have to worry about when and where our next meal is coming from. Yet in this blessing we now take food for granted. Let us see if we can bring back gratitude into the very physical act of eating and nourish our bodies more completely.
So how can we do this?
Firstly recognise and be grateful for the abundance of food with in your own life.
When preparing a meal imagine the journey each item took to get to your kitchen. e.g The carrot seed being planted. The sun, wind, rain and moon that nourished the seed as it grew in the soil. The person who tended the carrots and then harvested them. Who transported the carrots from the farm? Where did you buy the carrots? Was it a fruit and veg shop, a farmers market or did you grown it yourself? What have you decided to prepare with the carrot?
Did you know that how the dish is prepared will also affect how it nourishes you?
Imagine a person who is angry or upset as they prepare your food. This angry/upset energy is being transferred into the dish. How do you think you would feel after eating this dish. Now image the same dish is prepared in a peaceful kitchen. How different would this dish be? I’m sure you can think of one person, like your Mum or a Grandparent, who has the most amazing dish that only they can prepare. How much love do you think goes into this dish each time they prepare it for you?
We are now at the table and the dish is before us. Before we start to ‘fill the hole’ in our stomach, stop for a moment and give thanks. This could be in the form of a prayer, it could be expressing your gratitude for the food before you or it can be acknowledging everyone who has been involved in bringing the food together.
By seeing your food in this way it becomes more than something to quickly consume, to fill a hole, so we can get on with more exciting or important things. It becomes an experience of abundance.

Six years ago I had my 1st real past life experience. I was lying on a massage table having a lovely Reiki treatment, when suddenly a strange vision appeared in my thoughts. I had set an intention with the practitioner to help me clear any blocks to abundance, as this has been a lifelong issue for me.
I spontaneously saw a vision of someone being dragged along a rocky, desert road on a cart, with their arms and legs chained together, like a slave. It was then followed by an intense feeling of hopelessness, complete powerlessness and a realisation that the person I was seeing was ME!
I had a strong sense the vision was from an era, a long time ago and then the word “Babylonia” popped into my head. It was so strange! At the time, my intuitive, spiritual gifts were really starting to awaken. But I had never seen visions like this before.
It occurred to me very quickly that I was experiencing a past life memory. A past life when I was a slave and felt absolute lack of abundance in all ways. Over the next few years, these spontaneous visions happened more and more and often related to my never-ending issue of trying to manifest more money and abundance.
I had past life visions of being in England in the Middle ages, living in a poor village ruled by a King and feeling like rich people are so selfish and didn’t care. Another time I saw myself as a young female in a rich wealthy family and not liking it because, my parents controlled everything I did and I had no freedom.
Another past life I saw myself as a woman who did secret healing work in her village by giving people herbal potions and treatments. I saw myself as being very afraid that the wrong people would find out I was doing this and accuse me of being a witch, so I was very uncomfortable receiving payment. I would give money away as soon as I got it, because I didn’t want the authorities to find money in my house. They would either take it as tax or get suspicious of what I was doing and want to punish me harshly.
I soon realised that all these spontaneous past life visions were showing up for me, to help me heal my deep wounds, beliefs and discomfort with money, abundance and rich people.
I realised that my vibrational energy of not feeling truly comfortable, deserving and safe with abundance and money kept it constantly away from me. It was like having one foot on the gas pedal and one on the brake! I was burning myself out big time, not going anywhere.
I was still blaming my parents, family and memories from this life time and had never thought that my abundance issues may go back way further.
I also started to spontaneously receive past life visions and information for my clients which they seemed to strongly relate to as well.
As always I turned to the Angels and Spirit for help and guidance.
Here are some of the ways Spirit guided me to heal:
- Make a list of people you admire and look up too that are successful, abundant, kind and use their abundance to help others too.
- Use a guided past life meditation to access memories and heal. I recommend Dr Brian Weiss or Sandra Ann Taylor.
- Script rewriting: rewrite your past life memory with a new positive outcome. Visualise your past life turning out in an abundant way, maybe with many good, kind, wealthy people, lending a hand and money to help you and the less fortunate.
- Do some “tapping”: Emotional Freedom Technique or “tapping” is a simple but very powerful technique to help you release all emotional attachment and charge to anything in the past or future. Use the technique to dissolve any negative emotional charge to people who are rich, mean, selfish, controlling, self-centred and arrogant.
- Work on feeling more and more comfortable with receiving, having and holding on to abundance. Visualise yourself having a certain amount of money, wealth, income, love or success and see what your body feels comfortable with. Try to expand that level of abundance and notice how comfortable your body feels. Note any resistance and negative thoughts that appear. This is all good subconscious information coming to the surface to heal. Use affirmations, prayer, meditation and visualisation.

Let Love Bloom
Manifesting is the buzzword in the metaphysical community lately, it has been for a while now. We humans are at that stage of our spiritual evolution where we’re still very enamoured with manifesting material comforts and abundance for us using the metaphysical principals and laws.
In this article, I want to take a little diversion into how mindfulness techniques can accelerate manifesting.
The real purpose of meditation
Meditation is the most well-known mindfulness practice. When we hear the word ‘meditation’, the image that comes to mind for most is a person sitting cross-legged on the floor, eyes closed, hands in a Mudra, doing their best to force any and all thoughts out of their head. However, that image is a stereotype. This is one way of meditating however, not the only way. In my opinion, there are as many ways of meditation as there are beings on this planet. When it comes to meditation, I believe, rather than asking “how should I do it?”, we would be better off to ask “how do I want to be feeling when I meditate?”
The real purpose of meditation is to reach a place of non-judgemental observation. Observation of myself, my thoughts, my behaviours, my surroundings etc. without placing any labels of judgement on them. When there is no judgement, when I simply am the way I am, I connect to the Universal stillness, the Source.
How meditation supports manifesting
When I connect with the Source, when I am in a still space of nothingness, that moment opens up infinite possibilities to be manifest. There is no ego or judgement sending energetic signals out into the Universe that this is possible and that isn’t. I effectively remove myself from the path of manifestation and hence, make the process smoother and better. The Universe now brings to me the possibility that is for my highest good.
In today’s day and age, when we talk about manifesting something, we take a very active (and sometimes, aggressive) or Yang approach. Create vision boards, repeat affirmations, practice visualisation, keep telling the Universe, “This is what I want and how I want it and this is when it needs to happen!” Of course, that is one part of the equation. Once I have sent out the energy of what I want to manifest, I then need to create a space for the Universe to bring that or better to me. Most of us forget this second part of the equation. And this is where mindfulness practice or a daily spiritual practice can support us.
Gratitude is also mindfulness
The energetic vibration of the feeling of gratitude is very high. Feeling gratitude for what I already have opens up the floodgates of more abundance to flow in. What we do not realise about gratitude is that it is also a mindfulness practice. To feel gratitude, I need to become aware of all that is working for me in this moment. When I feel gratitude, that energy is then matched by the Universe by giving me experiences which make me feel the same feeling again! This is exactly why, gratitude is another way to manifest better and faster.
Take some time each day to meditate and feel grateful and see the manifesting miracles that you co-create with the Universe!

Want to manifest more abundance into your life? Don’t we all *wink wink*
I’ve had great success with manifesting abundance in both my personal life and in my business by using crystal grids. Crystals are amazing abundance creators. Crystals want to work with us and help us to achieve our life purpose. And today, I am going to show you how easy it is to create crystal grids.
I will go about this two ways.
By explaining the steps to create your own personalised crystal grids
Pre-designed crystal grids for: career opportunities, finding your tribe, attracting relationships and manifesting abundance into your life
Creating your own personalised crystal grid
The best crystals grids are ones that are catered to your specific needs. To be able to do this, you MUST be willing to trust your intuition. Your intuition and your willingness to trust the feelings you get as you place the crystals are key to creating a great crystal grid.
Crystal grids don’t have to be in a circle, on a ‘seed of life’ pattern or in any other type of geometric shape. Your crystals will know where they need to go, based on your intention for the grid. Once you have your chosen crystals, it’s essential that trust your gut feelings on the placement of them. I always listen to where my crystals want to go, and I always get powerful grids from them (no matter how weird looking the grid is).
Here are the steps to creating a personalised crystal grid
Setting your intention: Stand in front of your crystals and be really clear about what you want from your crystal grid. e.g. I want to get a promotion at work; I want to grow my business to the next level; I want to go on a three month holiday to Europe etc. Whatever your desire is, hold it firm in your mind
Choosing your crystals: Or should I say, they will choose themselves. Once you have your intention firmly in your mind. Look to your crystals, which ones are standing out? Which ones are calling to you? As your eye goes over each crystal, ask them “Do you want to be in this grid?” and listen for the answer. You will get a sense of a yes or no answer.
I have included ‘crystal wish lists’ under each of the pre-designed grids, if you are looking for inspiration.
Cleansing your crystals: Once you have chosen all of your crystals for your grid. I would suggest giving them a quick cleanse before you grid them. You can do this by: sageing them with a sage stick; using sound (if you don’t have Tibetan bowls, try YouTube for the exact same sound); placing them out under a full moon.
I also like to show my crystals a bit of love, so after they have been cleansed, I give each one a kiss and thank them for choosing to work with me.
Gridding your crystals: The location of the grid is entirely up to you. I would suggest wherever you have the space. I have crystal grids under my bed, next to my bed, on top of chest of drawers, on bookshelves.
- Once you have chosen your location, then start the gridding process (remember to trust your intuition here).
- Hold your intention firmly in your mind and ask your crystals “who wants to be first?” Which crystal are your eyes getting drawn to? Choose it and place it.
- Ask “who’s next?” and choose that crystal. Move the second crystal around the first one until the placement ‘feels right’.
- Ask “who’s next?” and choose that crystal. Move the third crystal around the first two until the placement ‘feels right’.
- You continue doing this until you have placed all of your crystals.
Wa lah! Now you have created your crystal grid. How long you leave it up is entirely up to you. But you need to give it time to attract your desired outcome. I usually have my crystal grids in place for about 8 months before I get the message to change them.
Pre-designed Crystal Grids
If you just want to grid and go, I have designed four crystals grids that you can use. They are for:
- Creating career opportunities
- Finding your tribe
- Attracting romantic relationships and
- Manifesting abundance into your life
Creating career opportunities – crystal grid
Want a promotion? A career change? To take your business to the next level? Then this grid is for you.
Hold your intention (in relation to your career) firmly in your mind, then place the crystals as shown in the picture.
The crystals in this grid work in the following ways
- Danubrite – helps to align you to your soul’s purpose
- Peridot – helps bring about change and success in career endeavours
- Emerald – helps you to attune to the frequency of abundance
- Amethyst – helps you to step out of your comfort zone and pursue greatness
Other great crystals for manifesting career opportunities are: Green Adventurine; Carnelian; Citrine; Malachite; Petalite; Sunstone & Tigers Eye
Find your tribe – crystal grid
When we find our tribe, when we find the group of people who are on a similar journey that we are on, it’s a great feeling. But do we know where to look for them? This next crystal grid creates a ‘tribe finding attractor field’.
Hold your vision of your tribe firmly in your mind, then place the crystals as shown in the picture.
The crystals in this grid work in the following ways:
- Rhodochrosite – helps you to truly know your heart
- Citrine – helps you to attract opportunities to you for your spiritual growth
- Herkimer Diamond – magnifies your brilliance and helps you to become a beacon for like-minded souls
- Rhodonite – helps you to bring your talents to the surface
Other great crystals for attracting your tribe are: Pink Calcite (transparent); Blue Chalcedony; Breccia Jasper; Fancy Jasper; Ruby; Turquoise
Attracting relationships – crystal grid
Looking for love? Want to attract the right person into your life? This next grid creates an attractor field while at the same time, works to heal wounds from the past.
Hold the vision of your ‘desired relationship’ firmly in your mind. I am referring to the type of relationship that you want to have. Not what you want your partner to look like. Once you have that vision crystal clear in your mind, then place the crystals as shown in the picture.
The crystals in this grid work in the following ways:
- Emerald – works to open your heart
- Danubrite – helps to awaken your spiritual wisdom
- Clear Quartz points – super charges the intention
- Peridot – heals the wounded heart
- Herkimer Diamond – becomes a pure love magnet
Other great crystals for attracting the love of your life are: Purple Chalcedony; Garnet; Kunzite; Morganite; Rhodochrosite; Rhodonite; Turquoise
Manifesting abundance into your life – crystal grid
Abundance comes in all shapes and forms. It could be wealth, opportunities, having the time and space to do what your heart desires etc. Whatever form you wish to be abundant in, crystal grids are a great way to start.
Visualise the type of abundance that you are looking for. Once you have that vision crystal clear in your mind, then place the crystals as shown in the picture. This is a great grid to place in front of your vision board.
The crystals in this grid work in the following ways:
- Citrine – helps to manifest abundance on all levels, but particularly on the financial front
- Clear Quartz Points – Intensifies the attractor field of the grid
- Amethyst clusters – ensures that the abundance that you attract is for your highest good
- Selenite* – works to clear all blocks and resistance to having abundance enter into your life
*Pls note: you can use any type / shape of Selenite. It doesn’t have to be an egg. It could be a heart, oval, tower, wand etc.
Other great crystals for attracting abundance into your life are: Amber; Barite; Emerald; Jade; Moldavite; Rutile Quartz; Sunstone; Tigers Eye; Turquoise
Remember, once you have placed your crystal grid, you need to give it time to work. I would suggest a minimum of five months for each crystal grid that you create.

This completed her lifelong search for a way of life that combines healing and principles for living. It is called the Qigong lifestyle. Qigong combines movement breathing and mind intention together to bring balance and harmony to the body.
Since graduating as a certified Qigong teacher in the Tiandi Qigong school and had the honour of touring with Master Zhao, attending master classes in China twice, Margie teaches Qigong at numerous parks around Sydney.
Margie feels that Qigong is the cornerstone of health, wellbeing and anti-aging. “No matter where in the world I am, I have the tools to fulfill my life’s mission. I am here to encourage and share with as many people as possible the different ways to take charge of their health naturally.”

Turmeric Golden Paste
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons raw turmeric paste
200 mls water
1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons Ghee or cold pressed Olive or Coconut Oil
Preparation:
Add the raw turmeric paste to the water in a pan. Heat gently and simmer over medium-high heat for 7 minutes, stirring constantly. You will notice a thick paste forming. If it gets too dry while cooking, you can add additional water.
Add pepper and oil at the end and stir to ensure all the ingredients are mixed properly. Allow to cool. Transfer into a glass air tight jar and put in fridge. This is good for 2-3 weeks.
Handy Hints:
- Use this to make your Golden Milk, Turmeric Latte, smoothies.
- Stir it into yogurt or add to your dinner plate as a condiment.
- You can also add it into your pet’s dinner plate or your horse feed too.
- Take 1-2 tsp on its own if you are able to every day for inflammation & general overall well-being.
- Black Pepper: We need this as turmeric is absorbed poorly in the body. Piperine present in black pepper helps in its absorption.
- Adding fats: like ghee or olive or coconut oil is another way to increase the absorption of turmeric in body.
- We have always been in favour of using raw turmeric because of its unique constituents e.g. turmeric oil is one constituent which is lost when you process turmeric into a powder. Raw turmeric has such great aroma compared to powder.
- You do not actually need anything to absorb curcumin if you are using raw turmeric. The reason is mother nature has already included an oil in it, “turmeric oil’. This is so good! Turmeric oil is around 6-9% of raw turmeric.
