Musing with Mukti : Interview with Rani’s Fire

This month Mignon Mukti from Sounds Divine get to know the Sydney-based acoustic indie duo/band Rani’s Fire, chatting to Lex about her musical journey.

Rani’s Fire combines pop and alternative music with smooth vocals and cheeky lyric to seduce their audiences and will part of the amazing program we are creating for the upcoming Sutherland Shire Embrace Life festival on Sunday 28 June, check out the details.

Singer/songwriter Alex Stengl formed Rani’s Fire in 2008, releasing a debut studio album ‘From the Left Side’ featuring a full band and strings in 2010. Since then, Rani’s Fire have performed at high class Australian venues and festivals in New South Wales and interstate, such as the Basement, the Vanguard, Woodford Folk Festival, Illawarra Folk Festival and Sydney Mardi Gras festival.

The EP ‘My Secret Heart’ Released in 2013. Tracks from the EP have received airplay on Triple J’s ‘Roots and All’ and Sydney’s FBi Radio.
