Where Is My Abundance?

You’ve done the manifesting, you’ve visualised it, but still it eludes you. ‘What is wrong with me’ I hear you ask? Where is my abundance?

Let’s go back a step. What exactly is abundance? What does it mean to YOU?

The Cambridge dictionary defines abundance as a situation of more than enough. But what is ‘more than enough’? Who sets this standard?

Remembering My Abundance

Last year I had my fair share of financial woes and I found myself feeling less than abundant. Later that year, I found myself at a spiritual retreat. One evening we did an outdoor meditation where we connected with all living beings on Earth and beyond. I enjoyed the meditation and found that I felt uplifted and ‘expanded’ afterwards.

I remember going back to my room, sitting on the bed, and thinking to myself ‘I feel abundant, I really do’!

I felt blessed and abundant for finding myself on retreat, in a serene environment, with like-minded people, nourishing my body, mind and spirit.

In that moment, there was nothing more that I desired. I felt that I had enough of everything that I needed, and more. I felt abundant. This was a feeling that no amount of money could buy.

Abundance On My Radar

Since that day I make a conscious decision on a daily basis to look for miracles and blessings in my life, which is how I define abundance. When you look for something, your mind becomes like a magnet or radar, constantly on the look-out.

Just as I was wondering how I would afford some pampering for myself, a colleague asks if I would be interested in being a body while she clocks up clinic hours for her Diploma of Reflexology.

When I was starting to feel guilty for not being able to send my daughter to overseas school camp, my children start to reminisce about all the great adventures they have enjoyed. I feel abundant when I go grocery shopping and see the variety of offerings available to me. I feel abundant when my chickpeas sprout, when my kombucha grows and when I look out at the stars at night.

How Much Is Enough?

How many clothes is enough? Jewellery, handbags, shoes? How many roles do I have to play? How much money do I need to earn?

When I realise that what I have is enough, I feel abundant. When I realise that what I know is enough, I feel abundant. There is nothing more I have to be or do.

I AM Enough

This is my mantra.

I still have dreams and aspirations, but the more I feel abundance in the present moment, the more abundance appears on my radar today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. It snowballs.

Where Is My Abundance?

Abundance is all around me when I am open to seeing it. Abundance is seeing my own ‘enoughness’ and the ‘enoughness’ of my life situation.
